the little twins again. hand-tinted in the darkroom (well, in a room next to the darkroom)... NOT PHOTOSHOP. its not a great scan, so I am sorry...but grain is lovely. overexposure is necessary, because I said so.
I am going to reprint it without the highlightoverexposure and then tint that print....but for now this is dandy.
the beauty of this is that the actual print is the EAXCT color of the twins' eyes. exact color. not as good on a computer screen...but the real print...yuh huh.
I took this awhile ago, but never got around to printing it till now.
Wow. The eyes are gorgeous, first of all. The shadows only enhance everything. Their expressions, skin texture, the line of lips. And the choice to include only portions of their face, and so close together? Fabulous.
magnificent. This may be the first print I buy
it's like a cut scene that you'd hear distant giggles going on in the background from...and then a flash of a close up of such captivating expressions.
yes, deffinitely making the purchase.
awsome work in the room next to the darkroom
In a word - haunting. The quality of your work truly shines in arrangement of the living. You tend to capture the underneath. Eye-shots especially and quasi-erotic scenes are your best (in my opinion). Likelihood of sublimation there is rather large, still that perhaps is what draws me here. Form, shadow, moment. The work in processing definitely brings out the soul of your subjects and is another testament of skill, as here it truly enhances for a reason - other than to show off technique.
Very well done.

very nice work
the expressions are so painfully sad, as is the emotion in their eyes...
I absolutely LOVE the high contrast because of the shadows that define their lips - simply stunning.
And the grain is wonderful. Gives the image a thousand and one dimensions.
